How to Simplify the Most Confusing Toggle Segments

Does your website or app have any toggle components? If it does, it’s essential to understand how to use them correctly so you don’t confuse users when they configure settings.

A common mistake is to mix binary logic with toggle segments. In other words, designers will include “On/Off” options in the component. Not only that, but they may also have a “Custom” option that allows users to configure the setting. Combining all this into a toggle segment is wrong and confusing.
