2011 was an interesting year for UX Movement. There were many articles published. But not all of them got the same amount of publicity. Since the new year is coming, I would like to spotlight the top 10 most read articles of 2011. In order, from most to least read, here they are:

  1. Why Rounded Corners are Easier on the Eyes
  2. Why Your Form Buttons Should Never Say Submit
  3. Why Users Fill Out Forms Faster with Unified Text Fields
  4. 9 Things Designers Can Learn from Target’s Checkout Form
  5. Why ‘Ok’ Buttons in Dialog Boxes Work Best on the Right
  6. Why Users Fill Out Forms Faster with Top Aligned Labels
  7. Why Hover Menus Do Users More Harm Than Good
  8. Call to Action Buttons Best Practices Guide
  9. How the ‘Thumbs Up/Like’ Button is Dumbing Users Down
  10. 5 Big Usability Mistakes Designers Make on Carousels

I would also like to personally thank everyone who has supported UX Movement over the year. Specifically, I would like to thank those who have sent words encouragement and praise through email, those who notified me when the site was down or something was off, those who have shared or tweeted my articles, those who have commented on my articles, those who have purchased my products, those who have contributed a guest post, those who have offered giveaways to my readers, those who have visited the sites of my sponsors, those who are following me on twitter, those who have subscribed to my RSS feed, and to anyone who has read one of my articles and just resonated with it. Thank you all. It is you who help make UX Movement great. I will continue to write and publish articles that you can enjoy for 2012.
