Pidoco is offering three six-month Expert licenses (each worth $356) to the readers of UX Movement! Pidoco is a web-based prototyping software for creating clickable wireframes and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications. Pidoco is easy to use and offers smart collaboration features, a convenient usability testing module and much more!

Build Web and Mobile Prototypes

In development projects, teams of professionals from different areas have to work together and make decisions that affect the success of a product. This is where Pidoco’s prototyping software is indispensable. With the help of Pidoco you can create clickable web and mobile prototypes in a matter of minutes. With the easy drag & drop functionality, no programming is required. Pre-designed UI elements and page templates in the library (including special elements for iPhone and iPad) make prototyping really easy and quick. With Pidoco it is possible to integrate videos, images and websites into your prototypes. You can also create and reuse custom templates to save time and simulate your prototypes in a browser. The Pidoco app is available at the Apple App Store and allows you to run and test mobile prototypes directly on the device, just like real apps.

Collaboration with Pidoco

With Pidoco you get a truly collaborative solution that makes it easy and efficient to work together in teams across functions, companies and geographic borders. The ability to share projects, manage access rights, ask for feedback and discuss wireframes or prototypes with your team and customers directly in one application will cut feedback cycle time and speed up your work flow. This will save valuable time and allow you to get your products to the market faster.

Online access to prototypes, working on projects simultaneously with as many people as you wish, and automatic backups make teamwork easy. Pidoco’s review feature allows your colleagues to view and comment on your prototypes. The collaboration dashboard lets you get a quick overview of what’s going on in your projects including newly received feedback.

Usability Testing with Pidoco

Pidoco’s remote usability testing feature allows you to do moderated online usability tests with real end users quickly and easily, without having to invest in lab equipment, using screen-sharing, VoIP, chat and session recording functions. With Pidoco you can run usability tests more often because you are independent of location and equipment, and can easily invite test participants for an online session.

Pidoco’s online usability testing is an efficient and affordable way of gathering real end-user feedback and improving the user experience of your application early in the process. This will increase your application’s usability and help you raise sales volumes, conversion rates and popularity of your app.

Pidoco looks really awesome. having evaluated the axures and the invisions out there….I’m yet to find the right balance between powerful prototypes, where users can enter real data etc, that doesn’t have an incredibly deep learning curve…. vs.. the simple to use but not functional enough image with hotspots approach.

    Sign me up Pidoco!

The weakness of prototyping tools are often collaboration functionnalities. I’m interested to test Pidoco for that !

I’m a UX Practitioner in Cape Town and it’s often ridiculously hard to get clients, and even sometimes the account team to understand the importance of real user testing. It would be amazing to be able to get better feedback on my designs. I get the feeling that if I can demonstrate the value of the tool, my company would be a lot more likely to buy in as well. Paying in US dollars every month is a bit steep but it looks truly amazing. And let’s face it I’d love to switch from my account with and get something more professional.

I love the fact that you can simulate fields and filling out of those. It’s always a drag with some other tools that you can’t really do fields and simulate how the flow works if validation does not occur.

I’d like the 6 month subscription to the Pidoco tool because we’ve always developed our mockups for usability testing the hard way – by quickly coding up our mockups in HTML/CSS.

We’re at the beginning stages of launching a new Saas product and, for the first time, have recruited a base of our ideal customer types to test our assumptions via interactive mockups as we build the software.

Instead of doing what we’ve always done, which is laborious, I’d like to try a service like this. It seems waaaay more cost-effective than incurring the hours necessary to code everything up.

I found Pidoco online almost by accident over a year ago and have since used them for all of my wireframing needs. Placing elements on a page is a snap. The easy to use interface gets out of my way so I can focus on placement and usability. Pidoco has saved me a ton of time.

I am a masters student in HCI and would love to learn more software for prototyping. I work at a software company in the Midwest and do prototyping for emails, as well. This would be a great chance to enhance my skills and gain visibility of the prototyping software!

I’m the sole UX person (!) at a rapidly expanding SaaS company, with customers scattered across the country. Quick prototypes that existing users can test and provide feedback on are crucial. Pidoco sounds ideal for prototyping and testing, helping me get the feedback I need to get my UX projects off the ground, and keep my users happy.

I am at the beginning of a 90-day sprint to start my own online company – if it’s worth doing, it’s worth devoting 90 days to. With my fast-approaching goal, I believe Pidoco could save me a ton of time and expedite my success!!! The whole goal of my business is to do it better than those big players out there now – so testing and collaboration is going to be KEY in getting it right!
