The people at Fanurio have generously offered to give away 1 license ($59.00) to a lucky UX Movement reader for free. Fanurio is a multi-platform desktop application that allows you to manage projects and invoices with ease. With Fanurio you can track your hours and bill your clients effortlessly. To enter the contest, simply leave a comment below and tell us what you do for a living.

If you don’t win, don’t worry. You can download a free 30-day trial anytime. We will contact the winner via email and announce it in a separate blog post. Below are a couple great features Fanurio offers. Thank you and good luck!

How Fanurio tracks time

Start tracking time at a click of a button. Fanurio has a simple timer that lets you know how much time you’re spending on a project. It records the time in a timesheet when you finish, keeping your hours near and organized. It also has a smart timing feature that stops the timer when you’re idle from your computer, so that it records the right time every time.

How Fanurio handles billing

Bill multiple clients with ease and flexibility. Fanurio not only shows you how many hours you’re spending on a project, but it shows you how much you’re earning from it. You can add expenses, discounts, taxes to any project, as well as work with foreign currencies. You can also create invoice templates with your own logo and layout and Fanurio will handle the rest.

I work as a software developer full time and seldom have some freelancing projects. In spare time, I tend to follow new trends :)

Hi, I’m a fulltime developper, studied open source technologies all my life but work almost exclusivly with Microsoft technology. Developping web app is a passion, and doing what I love for somebody else is killing me, that’s why I started my own business, an ad agency to be able to apply the best practices I learned and do the hell I want!

I’m educated as a web developer but I’m currently into freelance web design. Ever since I started into freelancing, I have been utilizing a bunch of different web apps and tools to help me in my work. Winning this Fanurio license, however, will be a perfect opportunity for me roll all those individual tools into one and thus simplify my workflow. Count me in! :)

I tried the trial version and I can tell you that this is a great software. I compared many different billing programs for freelancing works. However, one thing I wish Fanurio has is the ability to customize invoice/estimate forms with nice color schemes. Other software applications let users can design their own forms or modify the templates.
