Win 3 Lifetime Licenses of Axutopia for Axure RP

by on 07/10/12 at 11:08 am

Axutopia is offering UXMovement readers 3 licenses ($97 value each) of their most popular bundle – a wide collection of 3,000+ royalty-free Axure widgets and icons for prototyping mobile, web and desktop apps. The Axutopia bundle includes widget libraries for iPad, iPhone, Blackberry, Windows 7 Phone, Android, Facebook, Web 2.0, Mac OS X, and Windows.

Each license comes with free updates to existing libraries and access to future libraries

Made Exclusively for Axure RP

Axutopia widget libraries come in .rp and .rplib formats for use with Axure RP. Axure RP is a rapid wireframing and prototyping tool, available on PC or Mac. Axure RP allows multiple team members around the world the ability to work on a shared project simultaneously and keeps a history of changes and feedback. You can add notes to widgets and pages to give context to prototypes and to clarify or detail functionality. Axure will automatically generate Word specifications so you don’t have to spend time writing long spec documents. Click-through interactivity allows your customers, team members, and clients the opportunity to test drive apps and give feedback without investing in app development.

The Perfect Prototyping Add-On

Axutopia widgets can be dragged and dropped on to an Axure page to create your app prototype. Each UI element is labeled for easy searching using Axure’s search box. The generous cache of user interface widgets for Axure RP allows designers and UX professionals to create UI prototypes and app designs in minutes, rather than hours. And with Axure, you don’t need to write a single line of code to make your prototype interactive.

Pixel-Perfect, Royalty-Free Designs

All widgets and icons included in Axutopia Widget libraries are 100% royalty-free and pixel-perfect. This means that when you finish prototyping your app, you no longer need to throw away your original designs and recreate final designs from scratch. Instead, you can use your prototypes in your final app designs. And visual designers can focus on tweaking the existing prototype designs, instead of recreating your prototype.

Customizable Widgets

Each widget in the Axutopia Widget Library bundle consists of groups of transparent PNGS with preserved rounded corners and fully editable text, giving you a rich platform for creating more UI widgets. Each widget can be broken down to basic elements and scaled to match current and future app requirements. Widgets can be reused and customized, saving you time whether you’re prototyping one app or many.

3 Lifetime Licenses up for Grabs ($97 value each)

Axutopia looks to be a marvelous prototyping tool. I believe it would really help me in preparing Look and feel of my own personal applications without the need for a dedicated designer to be at hand.

I am finally getting into mobile UX and it would be great to have these wonderful resources available to me!

I would use these widgets darn near every day… I do a lot of my work in Axure, and am prototyping more and more mobile interactions. The free Axure libraries for iOS and Android are OK, but these look to be far more robust.

I’ve been considering making a super very ultra dead simple podcast listening app for iPhone and android. Axutopia looks like the perfect tool to wireframe it.

Been using Axure for a while and recently persuaded my company to switch to it for U/X Design. It’s been outstanding–the team has never been more productive!

Wow! This is just the tool that I was looking for! I have some other tools to develop wireframes with some Facebook and Iphone models, but they lack all the Axure functionality.

I want to give it a try!

I think the Widgets can help me in designing prototypes for devices as for most decision makers, being able to visualize a high-fidelity prototype makes it easier to understand the process.

Using these Widgets it would make my work easier.

I just started off with Axure RP for wireframing and this library can be of great use for foraying into mobile/tablet designs.

If the winners are picked randomly I don’t see the point in telling what I like to create with these awesome libraries which make my prototypes so much more convincing?

But you can always ask ;)

What a nice widgets library !

It would be great to use it in my everyday tasks to come up with more realistic prototypes.

These looks fantastic! I have been making mock ups using just photoshop. This will save a lot of time for me.

I mainly design & develop apps for Android. I recently jumped into responsive webpages. Looking at all the previews. This will help me a lot.

I could use these, although I’ve looked through them and it looks like you’re missing the Facebook App page header – but everything else is very useful.

Personally, I find the most value in the Facebook, Web, and iPhone libraries. You might want to consider creating discounted packages geared toward certain professions. (i.e. Web designers library package, App Developer library package.)

Overall great set of libraries though.

Both our enterprise software application, our mid-market offerings, and our mobile offerings often involve lots of complex interactions as we get our users to understand the right price to set on every business transaction.

These libraries would be great to help us hone in on ways to create a delightful user experience that remains goal-oriented, easily understandable, and visually appealing. This is especially true when considering that we have to support a variety of platforms.

Love Axure — Eventually I want to do complex hi-fi prototyping, and crank out faster wireframes so I can get keep getting freelance (or permanent) work.

I’d be using the widgets to learn more about how to use Axure and help me get more work, as well as, advocate to the organization’s I work with the importance of prototypes. In addition to this, if I learn how to create custom widgets, I would share them with others. The tools I use now are good, but are not growing in popularity as fast as Axure is and also require me to use other tools.

I’m still old-school that I do everything in Photoshop with home-grown templates, but Axure looks pretty cool. I’ll test it out and see if it improves my process at all.

I’ve been using Amir’s Keynotopia to prototype mobile apps for a while know, and I’d love to move to up to prototyping in Axure! I’m designing a mobile app for Vogue at the moment.

I’m a UX practitioner from Cape Town, our team uses Axure RP almost literally all day every day. We work on a wide range of products and end up having to do a lot of interface mockups, for mobile, social and web applications. It would be awesome to have a library of widgets we could use to speed up our prototyping and wireframing!

I’m a current user of Axure (using the temporary student license) and a graduate student in Human-Centered Computing. Due to my research interests in mobile and social computing, I’d love to win a license of Axutopia!

I have played with Axure on my colleague’s machine couple of days ago and I was very surprised by the amount of time that we could save if we were using it during the prototyping stage for the mobile app we are currently developing. I’m looking forward to use it for the new air/hotel booking app that we will start developing next month.

    What a good idea, axutopia:
    - It saves designing-time
    - I can do where I’m hired for
    - It’s not expensive

    …gives me what I need!

  26. Katharina

I just got started with Axure, though I’m a UED professional. I never really liked it, because I prefer Omnigraffle and it’s graffletopia resources.

Since there’s also Axuretopia, it would help me to dive quicker into Axure, because I always hated it for the lack of libraries and flexibility. Prove me wrong!

  27. Keith Baak

Many people in IT Service field in Seoul are still using PowerPoint to draw wireframes to collaborate with designer and developers.

In the time we are adopting Agile process and Lean UX stuff, I want to get rid of tools are not designed for agile prototyping.

I think Axure is very best tool we have to adopt.

I’m a UXD and use Axure on an everyday basis. Widgets are such incredible timesavers that I’m always looking for the latest and greatest. It sounds like this kit would solve my problems – the latest and greatest is in a single updating collection! Nice!

  31. Svetlin Denkov

Given the realism of the widgets, I would leverage this resource in my work process to alleviate the amount of time spent producing designs with greater visual fidelity.

Furthermore, Axutopia’s widgets will allow me to create mobile apps and mobile sites, which stay true to the stylistic representations of the different platforms.

I’m constantly working in ARP and basically begin everything with a prototype. However, I’m not really using any libraries yet and I know this would greatly benefit me and my clients. I want to save time and money!

I’m a visual designer, currently finding myself spending a lot of time perfecting my high-fidelity mockups. Axutopia would allow me to spend more time thinking and less time pixel-pushing.
